MoA 261 was fantastic. The weather was chilly but MoA 261 was fantastic. The weather was chilly but provided the perfect mix of wind, rain and sun. We navigated our way to Mount Desert and back. We sailed overnight. We stopped for lobsters. We practiced heaving to and crew overboard. We set the preventer and reefed everyday. It was a busy week. But, it’s really all about the crew. It was a great group of eager sailors who made the trip a real pleasure to teach.

After a few years of wasting space, we got rid of After a few years of wasting space, we got rid of the generator aboard ROCINANTE. Replaced by a 250ah alternator, a lithium battery bank and a larger solar array. 
The  space we gained is amazing. Perfect for a proper workbench and tool storage.
Marelon thru hulls are slightly larger than their Marelon thru hulls are slightly larger than their bronze equivalents. So we enlarge all the thru hulls slightly. We’re replacing four this year. This simple process works just fine for enlarging an existing hole.
