Join us for this coastal and offshore passage from Rockland ME to Halifax NS! We haven’t made this passage since 2011, when we sailed to Newfoundland and filmed One Simple Question. We’ll probably head east through the islands of Penobscot Bay the first day and drop the hook somewhere cozy for the night. We’ll check the forecast and make our plan to jump across The Gulf of Maine to Canada. The currents are strong as we near the Bay of Fundy, and the fishing boats work all night long. So we’ll be standing a vigilant watch as we sail through the night. We have no set itinerary once across to Canada, but hopefully we’ll have time to stop in Lunenberg for an exploratory walkabout – it’s a super cool sailing town with lots of history. We’ll make our way to Halifax by the morning of August 1st.
