Morse Alpha Expeditions is looking for dedicated instructors to teach both basic and advanced sailing and seamanship skills. In this role, you’ll lead watch on passage expeditions, promote positive shipboard camaraderie, and implement effective leadership techniques. Candidates should possess strong educational backgrounds, experience teaching and leading groups in dynamic environments, and a collaborative, patient temperament suited for communal living with a diverse group of both beginner and advanced sailors. Minimum Requirements:
Coastal Expeditions: USCG 25 Ton Near Coastal Master or Mate or OUPV
International/Offshore Expeditions: USCG 50 Ton Oceans Master or Mate and STCW Basic Training
Two years of teaching experience, or equivalent educational/leadership experience.
