Aug 2–8: Halifax – Rockland

Join us for the return trip from Halifax NS to Rockland ME. Last time we made this passage, we ran into the most intense lightening storm we have ever seen! We’ll probably head west along the Nova Scotia coast towards Mahone Bay, and find an anchorage, perhaps Lunenburg. We’ll check the forecast and make our plan to jump across The Gulf of Maine. The currents are strong near the Bay of Fundy, and the fishing boats work all night long. So we’ll be standing a vigilant watch as we sail through the night. We have no set itinerary, once we arrive back in US waters. We’ll sail amongst the islands of Maine as we practice our skills and drills and make our way to Rockland by the morning of August 8th.
